This companion EP to "It Is Glorious to Make Electricity for Socialism" is about the British commercial war against the Dutch in the 18th century, Dutch colonialism in Indonesia and the amazing synergies between British and Indonesian folk songs. I've been having these ideas for over 20 years, so here are my musical thoughts over time. I'm not celebrating colonialism, I'm celebrating the connections between people made evident through music.
